How to accept an organizer's promoter invite
Got an invite to be a promoter? Here's how to accept and start sharing in a few clicks.
When an organizer invites you to promote an event, you receive an email with an invite link. The process is quick: if you don't have a promoter account yet, you create one in the same flow; if you already do, the invite is linked automatically and the event shows up in your list right away.
As soon as you're in, your promoter slug becomes the coupon code for that event, ready to share.
Step-by-step
Open the email from Baila with the subject "You've been invited to promote "event name" — Baila". Click the button in the email: if you're already a promoter, it reads Open My Links; if you don't have an account yet, it reads Create My Account.
If you don't have an account yet: enter your name, email, and password. Your slug is generated automatically from your name (e.g. Maria Silva → maria-silva). You can adjust it later.
If you already are a promoter: the link is created the moment the organizer invites you — your current slug becomes that event's coupon code right away. Just sign in to reach your panel; there's no separate "accept" step to click.
Open the promoter panel at promoter.vaidebaila.app and go to the Links tab. The event appears as a link card on the My Links page.
On the My Links page, find the event's card and tap Copy (or WhatsApp / Share) to spread it on your channels. Every sale made through that link counts for you.
If the invite email doesn't arrive within 10 minutes, check your spam folder and confirm the address with the organizer. Invites can only be sent to one email at a time — if the address is wrong, the organizer needs to resend.
What happens after you accept
When the invite is accepted, the system creates two records atomically in the same transaction:
- An EventPromoter record linking you to the event and the organizer.
- A Coupon on the event whose code equals your slug, with the discount rule set by the organizer (if any).
Because both are created together, there's never a partial state — either you're linked with a coupon ready, or you're not linked at all.
