CPF purchase limits
Why my purchase was blocked by a CPF limit
Understand why Baila may block your purchase based on a limit set by the organizer.
If you tried to buy a ticket and saw a message about being blocked by a CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) limit, that is a feature the event organizer turned on — not a fault on your account. The limit is a measure against scalpers, meant to keep tickets available to more people.
The limit is per event, set by the organizer themselves. If they set, for example, "maximum of 2 tickets per CPF", you won't be able to buy a third one for the same event — not even in separate purchases or in different tiers.
Common causes of the block
What to do
- Talk to the organizer. The limit is the organizer's policy, so only they can grant exceptions or explain the maths. Use the contact channel listed on the event page.
- Use a different CPF for the purchase. If the tickets are for family members, each of them can buy under their own CPF.
- Check earlier purchases under "My tickets". Confirm how many tickets you already hold for that event before trying again.
