How to transfer a ticket to somebody else
Send a ticket to another person by email — they confirm receipt and the QR code is reissued in their name.
You can transfer a ticket you already bought to somebody else — they get an invite by email, accept it, and the QR code is issued in their name. The transfer is safe: the old QR code is invalidated the moment the other person confirms receipt.
How to transfer
Open My tickets. In the portal or in the Baila app, go to your ticket list.
Select the ticket you want to transfer. Tap (or click) the ticket and look for the Transfer button. A panel called "Transfer ticket" opens.
Type the recipient's email. Email is the contact channel here, so use it. Double-check it (a typo sends the invite to the wrong person).
Confirm. The transfer stays in the Pending status until the other person accepts.
After you send it, the ticket stays on your account with the Pending status. You can resend the invite or cancel the transfer while the status is Pending. Once accepted, the change is final.
What happens next
- The person receives an email with the invite.
- They click Accept transfer and create an account (if they don't have one yet).
- When they confirm, your original QR code is invalidated and a new QR code is issued in their name.
