How to send a ticket as a gift at purchase time (gift checkout)
Buy a ticket for somebody else using their email — the transfer happens automatically once the payment clears.
If you are buying a ticket to give to somebody, use gift checkout: at purchase time you supply the recipient's email, and Baila takes care of the automatic transfer as soon as the payment is confirmed.
How to gift at checkout
Pick the event and the tier as usual. Select the ticket on the event page just as if you were buying it for yourself.
At the order summary step, choose "For someone else". On each ticket, switch "For me" to "For someone else". That choice sits in the order summary, next to the payment method and the CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID).
Enter the recipient's email. In the "Recipient email" field, type the email of the person who will receive it — double-check it so you don't get it wrong.
Complete the payment. Pay with PIX (Brazil's instant bank transfer) or card as usual. You pay — the ticket goes straight to the recipient.
Wait for the recipient to confirm. They receive an email inviting them to accept the ticket. Once they accept, the QR code is issued in their name.
If you buy several tickets at once, you can give a different email for each ticket — handy for gifting a group of friends in a single purchase.
What if the person doesn't accept?
If the recipient doesn't accept, or declines, the ticket comes back to your account automatically — you lose nothing. You can then keep the ticket, try another transfer, or ask the organizer for a refund (depending on their policy).
