How to cancel a pending transfer I sent
Cancel a transfer that is still pending to get the ticket back on your account.
If you sent a ticket to the wrong person, or the person is no longer going to the event, you can cancel the transfer while the status is still Pending. The ticket returns to your account with the original QR code intact.
How to cancel
Open My tickets. In the portal or the app, find the ticket you sent — it carries the Pending badge.
Click Cancel. The button is right there, on the row of the ticket you sent.
Confirm. A confirmation prompt appears asking you to confirm the cancellation.
Check the status. The ticket goes back into your name. The original QR code stays valid — and the invite you sent earlier stops working for the recipient.
Cancelling is only possible while the status is Pending. Once the other person clicks Accept, the transfer is final and cannot be undone by Baila — only by a new transfer started by the person who received it.
What does the recipient see?
If you cancel before the person accepts, they get a Transfer cancelled email. And if they open the link they had received, they see that the transfer is no longer available to accept — so there is no way for them to accept it any more.
